A SAFE SPACE

for the different versions of ourselves

Jasmine Jenai

was inspired to become a writer and interviewer when she first saw Carmen Cummings —FAMU’s Senior Executive Director of University Engagement and Alumni Affairs — on WCTV Channel 6 in Tallahassee. She was the first Black news anchor that Jasmine ever saw and this made her believe she could also make great strides in media.

Her written work has appeared on Motherly, The Everymom, The List, and Brit + Co. She’s currently a full-time Staff Writer at the latter publication where she covers everything from motherhood to pop culture.

Since 2023, Jasmine has had the opportunity to speak with names like Amber Venz Box of LTK and foodpreneur Pinky Cole.

Her ultimate goal is to inspire others with her in-depth look into motherhood, entrepreneurship, relationships, and more. And if she can encourage people to have fun along the way? Even better.
