Grab Your Coins: Cécred Is Coming To An Ulta Near You

Beyoncé’s no stranger to breaking the internet, but I think she’s just graduated to giving 2025 a hard reset. From (finally) winning Album of the Year at the Grammy’s to announcing the Cowboy Carter tour, she’s doing A LOT and her fans love her for it. It’s me. I’m a lifelong member of the Beyhive minus the parasocial vibes.

Just when we thought she was done making our year, Beyoncé decided to drop another surprise. Her haircare brand Cécred revealed huge news in celebration of its one-year anniversary and it’s giving, “This is what the girls have been asking for.” But first, let’s revisit the day we knew this brand would be monumental.

Cécred’s “Humble” Beginnings

P.S. I did a TON of scrolling for you!

Approximately 54 weeks ago, Cécred’s Instagram page was born and featured BTS clips of different hair experiences. From glimpses of salon culture to different texture’s routines, the brand made it clear what fans should expect.

Once it was clear Beyoncé was venturing into the haircare space, the excitement AND questions started rolling. The main point of curiosity was whether or not customers could expect products to be textured hair-friendly or not. After all, it’s clear that no two textures are alike and it would be alienating if everyone wasn’t represented.

Instead of glossing over the concern, the brand allowed Dr. Kari, the brand’s Head of Education, to touch on it. My favorite part of the caption is, “We tested on textured hair, knowing that by solving its needs FIRST, we can address the needs of all hair types.”

And when people felt Beyoncé shouldn’t have a haircare brand because she “never shows her real hair,” the singer and entrepreneur shared a video to shut down the noise.

But, that wasn’t enough for me. I personally reached out to three women who use Cécred’s products and they shared their hair journeys + why the brand’s products are a part of their daily routine. From noticing how healthy their hair looks to appreciating how gentle is on their scalp, it’s clear Cécred isn’t just a gimmick.

Cécred’s First Anniversary

Now, the brand is celebrating it’s first anniversary by sharing it’ll be accessible in Ulta beginning April 6 and it’s also released a gorgeous 14K nameplate necklace to celebrate the many awards + breakthroughs it’s achieved.
