Christian Siriano’s F/W Ode to Audrey Hepburn

The late Audrey Hepburn managed to leave a lasting impression on cinema and fashion, often being referenced in obvious or subtle ways. For designer Christian Siriano, it felt natural to honor her affinity for gardens with his latest seasonal collection. More specifically, he told publication Fashionista that he was especially inspired by her mini series Gardens of the World.

In a way, Siriano created his own garden of tailored silhouettes, pleated tulle and a simple, yet lush color palette that seamlessly blended together. Keeping true to what sets him apart as a designer, he mixed glamour with hints of sex appeal and draped each model in a look that seemed to be custom-made for what they’d wear in their own gardens past a certain hour.
