10 Spring-Friendly Shackets To Wear

I’m currently writing this while listening to the wind howl outside my bedroom window which means it’s cold again. Georgia’s always had a hard time letting go of winter, but that doesn’t really bother me anymore. I’ve since learned not to be eager to put away my winter clothes when spring arrives because it’s inevitable that a cold front will surprise us periodically.

There’s also extremely windy days to deal with so it just makes sense to have access to a few winter coats and jackets. Sometimes I’m even able to get away with wearing a shacket. I thought about getting rid of the two that I have, but I’m glad I decided against that. They’ve become my go-to outerwear when I don’t want to be bothered by anything heavy.

My favorite one is this green plaid piece I bought a few years ago from Shop Nichole Lynel. It’s no longer in stock, but new styles are regularly added to the site! It’s funny because I’ve noticed I only wear it when I need to feel grounded. It has a midi length and is thick enough to withstand mildly cool days — think anywhere between 50 and 60 degrees.

The other thing I love about this shacket is its versatility. I’ve worn it with an oversized t-shirt and leggings outfit and with a pair of wide-legged jeans. So, wearing it with a denim skirt seemed like an easy choice.

Now, does green plaid match cow print? Not really, but I’m a fan of their cool juxtaposition.

Spring Shackets

Shackets may not be trending like they used to, but they’re still a good option if you love the ‘shirt jacket’ look. Here’s 10 that I found while browsing the net.

P.S. There are affordable options linked!
