I Just Found The Perfect Stylish Glasses
I don’t know what Warby Parker put in my new glasses, but I immediately fell in love with them the first time I tried them on. Even though I tried on different frames, I kept coming back to them. So, what does any girl who has a style dilemma do? Ask for trusted advice.
Almost everyone I asked chose this glasses, but my final choice was made when I tried them on during my eye exam. It was like finding the perfect pair of shoes that complete an outfit which is funny because they’re more than a fashion statement…
I truly need glasses to see.
The first time I realized something was wrong with my eyesight was during fifth grade. I told my teacher I couldn’t see so she moved me to the front row of class. However, she was concerned when I told her the board was still blurry.
Once she talked to my mom, an appointment at LensCrafters was made and they confirmed my need for glasses at 10 years old. I wasn’t happy about it, but I decided to treat my new silver frames like a fashion accessory. Turning lemons into lemonade!
Once I decided to venture past silver, I set my sights on tortoiseshell frames. Like leopard print, I loved the feeling they invoked. They felt mysterious, stylish, and studious — three things that would eventually matter to me as an aspiring writer.
Now that I’ve fully embraced being a digital media journalist, it’s only right to lean into glasses my younger self used to dream about wearing.
Current Vs. Prior Glasses
Ironically, the colorway of my previous glasses is similar to the pair I’m wearing now. The major differences between the two are the the thickness of the frames and how much more pronounced the tortoiseshell pattern is on Warby Parker’s design.
It’s also worth nothing that my current glasses feel sturdier. Surprisingly, they didn’t need to be resized as they fit my face perfectly!
There aren’t enough words to describe how much I appreciate these frames so I’ll stop rambling about them (ha)!
All thoughts are genuinely my own and in no way reflect a partnership with Warby Parker.
